The most wonderful time of the year continues in Dyker Heights.
Elected officials, community stakeholders and local residents came together on Friday, December 9 for the second annual Dyker Heights Christmas tree lighting, held outside the neighborhood’s recently-opened Investors Bank, 7414 13th Avenue.
Among those in attendance were merchants association President Dominick Sarta, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Carlo Scissura, Investors Bank Senior Executive Vice President and COO Domenick Cama, State Senator Marty Golden, Councilmember Vincent Gentile, Assemblymembers Pamela Harris and Peter Abbate. and Community Board 10 District Manager Josephine Beckmann.
The festivities included a DJ, hot chocolate and — of course — some good old fashioned Christmas carols, right there on the busy strip.
