18-year-old robbed at knifepoint on New Utrecht Avenue

An 18-year-old man was walking home from classes near 73rd Street and New Utrecht Avenue when he was attacked, held at knifepoint and robbed by three unknown crooks, according to cops.

According to reports, on Tuesday, December 19 at around 2:40 a.m., the perps, described as men around 21-years-old, approached him from behind. One of the three then took out a knife and put it around his neck. He then allegedly asked if he had any money. One of the perps then went into his pocket and stole $20 while the other crook was holding him down. The third perp reportedly served as a lookout. Once the trio stole the small sum of cash, they fled the scene westbound on New Utrecht Avenue.

No arrests have been made.
