A 66-year-old man was found shot and killed as cops look for vehicle connected to homicide.

Cops found a 66-year-old man who was shot and killed inside a Bath Beach Home and are seeking the public’s help in finding a vehicle connected to the homicide.

On Wednesday, February 8 at around 6:39 p.m., cops arrived at the home at Bay 8th Street between Bath and Benson Avenues and found Robert D’Onfrio, a former civilian NYPD employee, with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was taken to Maimonides Medical Center where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a blue 2015 Ford Mustang with NY license plate GEF8791.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
