A second gunpoint robbery occurs inside a Bay Ridge deli.

Another Bay Ridge deli was robbed by a gun-wielding man on Friday, February 23.

Cops say that at around 11:05 p.m., the crook entered the store on the corner of Marine Avenue and Third Avenue, pointed his firearm at the store’s employee and demanded cash. The man stole around $170 cash from the victim and fled the scene.

There was no injuries sustained during the robbery.

Police describe the suspect as a white man wearing a black hat and jacket with the hood up.

Witnesses also described the man as fleeing the scene in a black SUV.

This is the second deli gunpoint robbery within a week.

On Tuesday, February 20, a white man also held up a 75-year-old deli employee at P and K Gift Shop near Bay Ridge Avenue and Ridge Boulevard, and stole over $200.

Authorities say that at around 6:45 p.m., the suspect entered the shop, pointed the firearm at the victim’s waistband and demanded cash. The man handed $250 to the crook who then fled the scene on foot eastbound on Bay Ridge Avenue.

The suspect in that robbery is also described as a white man. He was last seen wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a light colored hooded sweater, dark colored sweatpants, black gloves and white sneakers.

Deputy Inspector Joseph Hayward, the commanding officer of the 68th Precinct, told this paper, “All the robberies have similar descriptions, but it is still an active investigation.

“I believe the perpetrator will be apprehended shortly,” he added.
