Cops arrest second assailant, still seeking third suspect in South Slope sexcapade

Another 24-year-old man has been arrested in the stabbing death of 20-year-old Manos Ikonomidis and police are now seeking a third suspect.

According to police, Gabriel Dos Santos was arrested on Thursday, June 22 and charged with murder, gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon, just two days after Sunset Park resident Christopher Membreno was taken into custody on Tuesday, June 20 and hit with the same charges in connection to the Monday, June 19 stabbing of Ikonomidis.

Ikonomidis, a Gravesend resident, was found by police unconscious and unresponsive with a stab wound to the chest and trauma to the body at around 4 a.m. on Monday, after what multiple reports claim was a threesome gone wrong inside 355 16th Street in South Slope.

According to reports, Membreno – who beat the victim with a bat before fatally stabbing him – was under the impression that Ikonomidis had raped his girlfriend. Rather, reports claim, the victim – along with a third man, identified as 21-year-old Jack Doherty – had participated in what police, at this time, claim to have been a consensual threesome with the woman though they are still investigating what exactly happened.

The slaying was set in motion, according to reports, once Ikonomidis began filming the romp, after which Doherty drove the woman home to Staten Island, and – after hearing from his girlfriend – Membreno and at least two other men stormed the South Slope building seeking revenge.

The victim was pronounced dead after being transported to Methodist Hospital and police are now seeking a third assailant.

Cops have described the individual as a dark skin man who is approximately 5’9″ in height and 165 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt jeans and sneakers.
