Cops search a man that attacked a 19-year-old man with a metal bat.

Police are looking for a male perp who assaulted a 19-year-old man with a metal baseball bat in Coney Island.

According to reports, on Saturday, November 11 at around 4 a.m., following a dispute, the attacker, described to be in his 30s, struck the victim in the head with the bat in front of 2869 West 15th Street before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The victim was taken to NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn where he was listed in serious but stable condition.

The suspect is described as Hispanic; he was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, a white shirt and dark colored pants.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
