Cops are hoping that a tattoo will lead them to the identity of a woman found floating in the vicinity of Gowanus Bay and Buttermilk Channel at 11:21 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27.
At this point, the cause of death of the unidentified victim is still unknown. The NYC Medical Examiner will determine it as the investigation continues, although anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline.
