Cops seek suspect in luring incident involving 14-year-old girl

Cops at the 61st Precinct are looking to identify a man wanted for grabbing and attempting to lure a young girl walking home from school.

According to police, the man approached the 14-year-old girl on February 16 at 4:39 p.m. as she was walking home from school on East Seventh Street. The man put his arm around the girl, in an attempt to coax the victim. Police say the girl attempted to run away when the unknown perp grabbed onto her arm, and managed to escape unharmed from the run-in. The man then fled to an unknown location.

The suspect is described as 20 years old, 5’8” tall, 150 lbs., with brown eyes, short black hair and a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a white collared shirt, a black jacket, black pants and black shoes.
