According to police, 138 packs of cigarettes were stolen from a Bensonhurst drugstore on Friday, June 23.

Reports claim that at around 4:17 a.m., an unknown male perp entered the business – located near 86th Street and Bay 40th Street – went over the cashier’s counter and stole the smokes. Furthermore, an eyewitness stated, a woman was acting as a lookout and – along with the perp – fled the scene in a black Nissan Altima.

The cigarettes were valued at over $1,500.
