Two men were arrested for attempting to rob a bodega at 63rd Street and 20th Avenue on Wednesday, June 14.
Police say that at around 11:12 p.m., a 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old man entered the store, placed several cans of Red Bull drinks in a duffel bag and tried to leave without paying. An employee confronted the men and attempted to stop them, and the alleged crooks punched him in his head.
Shortly after, the two suspects were arrested on robbery charges.
