Cops say a 23-year-old man who attempted to buy marijuana from an acquaintance was attacked and robbed of around $2,000 by said friend and another perp on Sunday, February 19.

Police say that, while the victim was attempting to buy the weed from the 21-year-old man inside an apartment on 70th Street between Narrows Avenue and Colonial Road at around 1:50 p.m., a second perp, 20, entered the residence, pointed a gun at him and asked him to give him “everything.”

According to the victim, the seller left the apartment while the second perp emptied a laundry basket and told him to load it with money. The victim put around $2,000 inside the basket as well as three pairs of sneakers and perfume.

The crooks then fled the scene.
