A total of $3,500 was raised at the November 15 Kings of Kings County event sponsored by the Star Network was donated to the William D. Wernicoff Children’s Foundation, aka the Dixie Fund, which brings gifts to children in hospitals on Thanksgiving.
It’s a project of the Esquire Goodfellowship Lodge #635 of the Knights of Pythias.
Accepting the check on behalf of the foundation from Cathy Ruggiero, Publisher Victoria Schneps and event Vice President Lori Pedone are Barry Wiener and Avery Marder.
