DOT suspends alternate side parking in preparation of another nor’easter

Brace yourselves, Brooklynites.

As the city prepares for the possibility of a fourth nor’easter in about a month — this time, one that could bring over a foot of snow, the New York City Department of Transportation, along with the Department of Sanitation, has announced that alternate side parking regulations will be suspended on Wednesday, March 21 and Thursday, March 22 in order to facilitate snow operations.

Payment at parking meters will remain in effect throughout the city.
