Editorial: Home Reporter Launches HomeReporterNews.com!

The Home Reporter and Brooklyn Spectator have formally launchedour new website, www.homereporternews.com, a compilation of all thenews that residents of southwest Brooklyn want to read and havecome to depend on from the neighborhood’s newspapers ofrecord.

Breaking stories are there – from the return of midtown expressbuses to the latest stage of residents’ battle to preserve thecity’s source of clean drinking water.

But, the website offers so much more, with inside looks at theneighborhood’s leisure hours, including videos and photo albums ofrecent events from the Fifth Avenue Festival to Fourth of Julyfestivities in Shore Road Park and at Fort Hamilton.

We may have launched the website, but www.homereporternews.comisn’t about us. It’s about you, our Brooklyn readers.

Comment on the stories you read. Send us an email telling us aboutissues that concern you or commenting on our coverage ofneighborhood issues and events. Post your photos and videos. Answera poll. Add an upcoming event that you are sponsoring to our eventscalendar. It’s easy, and articles in this week’s paper will guideyou, if you want, every step of the way.
