A $43,000 car was taken for a joyride in Windsor Terrace last week.

According to police, at about 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, the car’s owner — a 39-year-old man — left it with the keys in the ignition near East Fourth Street and Vanderbilt Street for nearly 45 minutes. Nearby cameras showed an unknown man approaching the car and driving away in it.

Later that day, the car was recovered nearby by the owner, at which time four unknown perps fled the vehicle.

No arrests have been made.
