Four places to catch the fireworks in Brooklyn this Fourth of July

What better way to celebrate the anniversary of America’s independence than with some good, old-fashioned fun and fireworks?

The annual Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks spectacle will take place at the Brooklyn Barge in Greenpoint at 9:25 p.m. Can’t make it to Greenpoint? Don’t fret. Venture out to these venues to catch a glimpse of this tried-and-trued tradition, with an added Brooklyn flare.

Brooklyn Heights Promenade

Locals and tourists alike will agree that this is the perfect viewing location to watch the annual display. With stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline, viewers will get a great view of the show. Be sure to get there early to grab a spot on one of the many benches to enjoy the show.

What’s better than watching a stunning fireworks show with a spectacular view and a beer in your hand? Fornino’s rooftop bar makes out to be a perfect destination to enjoy the show. Don’t want to travel too far from home to see the Macy’s fireworks show? Not to worry. The annual fireworks show at Luna Park is a great way to end your evening at Coney Island. While you wait, laying out on the beach, riding the rides, or watching the always entertaining hot-dog eating contest take place is a great way to show some American pride. If you can’t make it out to Coney Island to see the display, there will be shows all through the weekend and more going on throughout the summer.
