Home Abstract Corporation celebrates its 40th anniversary.

On October 26, the Home Abstract Corporation celebrated its 40th anniversary during an open house event at its Brooklyn office, 8225 Third Avenue.

Home Abstract is a family owned business, and according to its owners is “one of the longest standing title agencies in New York State.”

“From the moment, my father (Nunzio) and I opened our office in 1977, the people of Brooklyn opened their hearts to us and gave us a home that would thrive for 40 years and counting,” said President of Home Abstract, Robert D’Addona.

According to the company, the key to its success is its dedication in providing superb service on deals of all sizes. The company also just obtained an ALTA Best Practices Certification which will allow Home Abstract to demonstrate to clients, lenders and the industry that it is committed to a higher level of compliance.

“Obtaining the ALTA Best Practices certification, together with our four decades of experience, is really a testament to what hard work and dedication can accomplish,” said Senior Vice President Gregory D’Addona.

As far as the future goes, Home Abstract has expanded to Manhattan with an office at 14 Penn Plaza and will also focus on Manhattan real estate.

“We are always looking to be one step ahead, always anticipating what are our clients’ wants and needs and we believe this step is just the beginning,” said Mark D’Addona, senior vice president.
