A 48-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle driven by a woman outside I.S. 281 Joseph B. Cavallaro on 24th Avenue between Cropsey and Bath Avenues on Thursday, June 15. Reports claim that at around 8:55 a.m., the victim, who is an administrator at the school, was conducting an evacuation drill.

While the students were crossing the street, the victim asked the driver not to move her vehicle. The woman proceeded to move the vehicle forward, striking the victim in the right knee four times despite being told to stop.

No arrests have been made as of yet. The victim suffered bruises to her knees.
