Knife-wielding suspect wanted for Smith Street subway incident

Cops are looking to locate and identify the man they say threatened a woman with a knife inside the Smith and Ninth Street “F” train station on Sunday, November 1, within the confines of the 76th Precinct.

According to police, the suspect — described as a black man, 25 to 30 years old — approached a 19-year-old woman on t

he northbound side of the subway platform and displayed a knife. The suspect, further described as approximately 5’04” in height and weighing close to 180 pounds, then fled to parts unknown.

He was last seen wearing a black vest, gray sweater with white stripes, black jeans and red sneakers.
