Letter to the Editor: Kudos to Gentile

Bay Ridge is lucky to have City Councilmember Vincent Gentile working for us and we’re lucky to have Michael Bistreich working for him.

A few weeks ago, out of desperation, I went to the councilmember’s office seeking help with a tuition dispute my family was having with CUNY and NYC College of Technology.

Michael Bistreich could not have been kinder or more astute as he listened to and understood my complaint. He brought the matter to Gentile’s attention and the school has now offered us a way to resolve our differences in a fair and acceptable manner.

I cannot thank them enough. Councilmember Gentile and his office, especially Michael Bistreich, are the epitome of good government working for the people.
