Man nearly robbed at gunpoint while pumping gas at Bay Ridge gas station

A man was nearly robbed while pumping gas at a Bay Ridge gas station earlier this month.

According to police, on Tuesday, December 13 at around 1:36 p.m., a 24-year-old man was pumping gas at a gas station at 91st Street and Fourth Avenue when two men, described to be in their early 20s, displayed a black gun and told the man to give them his money.

The two perps fled the scene without stealing anything, and ran into a nearby department store on 86th Street and Fifth Avenue. Video footage shows the possible perps leaving the store’s parking garage in two separate vehicles.

No injuries were sustained and no property was stolen.
