A man was shot by robbers in Sunset Park on Monday.

A 25-year-old man took two bullets during a robbery in Sunset Park.

According to police, on Monday, January 8 at around 10:15 p.m., the victim was inside his car near 45th Street and Seventh Avenue when two men approached him. One of them demanded that he open the trunk of the vehicle, while the other perp stole the victim’s backpack, valued at around $20, from the backseat of the car, then took out a gun and shot the man twice in the torso. The duo then fled the location.

The suspects are described as a white male and a black male.

EMS rushed the victim NYU Langone Hospital- Brooklyn where he is currently listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
