Police find missing person Yomaris Castro.

The NYPD is asking for help in its efforts to find a missing 17-year-old girl in Mapleton.

The missing person in question, Yomaris Castro, was last seen on Thursday, June 7 leaving her home, 2321 65th Street.

Castro is described as a female Hispanic, approximately 5’2″ tall, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and long braids. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, ripped blue jeans, black sneakers and a nose ring.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Castro is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or in Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). Tips can also be submitted by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to  274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
