New Apple store slated for Fort Greene

More Apples for the Big Apple’s biggest borough.

Brooklyn will soon be getting its second Apple store, real estate website The Real Deal reports, just months after the borough’s first opened up shop in Williamsburg.

The tech giant’s newest home will anchor the ground floor of Fort Greene’s 300 Ashland Place, a 379-unit luxury building in the heart of Brooklyn’s Cultural District complete with panoramic views and full service resident amenities which sits on top of  cultural programming like BAM Cinema theaters and a branch of the Brooklyn Public Library, StreetEasy writes.

The deal, which includes a 10-year lease for the approximately 12,000 square feet Apple will occupy, had been in negotiations for about three years before the signing took place, according to The Real Deal.

Apple’s Williamsburg store, located at 247 Bedford Avenue, opened in July. There are currently seven Apple stores in Manhattan, one in Staten Island and one in Queens.
