The R train.

There’ll be no traveling to Bay Ridge on the R train this weekend.

The R train will not be operating between 36th Street and 95th Street beginning on Friday, September 22 at 11:45 p.m. until Monday September 25 at 5:00 a.m, according to the MTA.

R train service will operate between 71st Avenue (Queens) and 36th Street (Brooklyn), then run via the D line to 9th Avenue. There will also be no late night service during this time.

For alternative service, straphangers may consider taking free shuttle buses, which makes stops between 36th Street and 95th Street all weekend, or the N train, which stops at 45th Street, 53rd Street and 59th Street.

The same service suspension will take place the weekend of September 29. For more information call 311.
