The gift that keeps on giving.

The Department of Education has recently announced that families can now submit a request for testing for the Gifted & Talented exam so that they may be considered for entrance into the city’s Gifted and Talented Program.

All families interested in their children being considered must first submit a request either online, in person at their public school or at a Family Welcome Center by Monday, November 13. Only students entering kindergarten, first, second or third grade are eligible at this time.

Families may access the Gifted & Talented website for a detailed calendar of events, and assessment and eligibility information, as well as other helpful resources. They can also call 718-935-2009 for more information on the program or how to register for the exam.
