Perps restrain elderly man, ransack home for $3 and fax machine

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two men wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred on Friday, July 8 in Borough Park.

According to police, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the two suspects forced their way into a home near 50th Street and 15th Avenue. The owner of the home was a 76 year-old man, according to cops, and the two perps made their way in as the man opened the door.

Once inside, the suspects demanded money. They confined the 76-year-old to a chair as they ransacked his house. The pair fled with a fax machine and approximately $3 in cash. The victim did not suffer any injuries as a result of the incident.

According to police, the first suspect is a white male, last seen wearing a white shirt, black baseball cap and dark colored pants. The second perp is described as a male, last seen wearing a black t-shirt, a dark colored bucket hat and dark colored shorts.
