59-year-old Hajem Alchtiwi charged with sexual abuse.

Police have arrested a 59-year-old man who allegedly repeatedly sexually assaulted 12-year-old twin sisters aboard a B1 MTA bus from September to November, 2017.

On Friday, February 2 Bay Ridge resident Hajem Alchtiwi, who resides near Third Avenue and 85th Street, was charged with sexual abuse, forcible touching and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

According to the NYPD, which sent out its original media alert on Wednesday, January 31, the man is suspected of repeatedly touching the victims’ buttocks as they traveled on the bus in the vicinity of 86th Street and 20th Avenue, within the 62nd Precinct, on their way to school.
