Police seek man for forcibly touching woman’s leg on Bay Ridge-bound bus in Sunset

A man is wanted for inappropriately touching a woman’s leg on a bus ride through Sunset Park.

According to authorities, on Thursday, May 17 at around 11:20 a.m., the suspect, said to be about 40 years old, sat next to a 29-year-old woman who was aboard the B63 bus to Bay Ridge at the northeast corner of 50th Street and Fifth Avenue and put his hand on her leg.

When the women removed his hand, the suspect is said to have put it back and moved upwards. The  woman then told him to stop, at which point cops say he did.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, approximately 160 pounds and 5’3″ tall with brown eyes, a light complexion and short dark hair.  He last seen wearing a grey jacket and a grey baseball cap with the words “Phoenix” on the front.
