Rite Aid robbers strike again, this time swiping candy and headphones

Adding to a string of recent thefts at two south Brooklyn Rite Aids, two unidentified perps hit up the 86th Street pharmacy last month and left with over $1,100 worth of merchandise that included candy and headphones, surveillance footage showed.

According to police, two unknown perps — described by cops as black men in their mid-20s — walked into the Rite Aid at around 1:34 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, placed various items into black laundry bags and left.

The total value of items stolen was $1,176.08 and the property listed included candy and headphones, specifically Sony earbuds.

A robbery at the same location — involving a 52-year-old man stealing $300 worth of Aveeno lotion — occurred on Friday, September 16 while a Kings Highway Rite Aid was the target of thieves on Sunday, September 25 and saw an unidentified black man take off with Dove body washes.

It is unclear at this time whether the thefts are connected.
