A shoplifter made off with $1,371.80 worth of merchandise from a chain drugstore on Third Avenue near 93rd Street on Saturday, December 10, at around 5:52 p.m.
According to the police, the unknown perp, described as a male white Hispanic around 30 years old and weighing around 210 pounds, who impersonated a security officer, stuffed the goods – including razors and makeup — into a red Century 21 shopping bag.
No arrests have been made.
