The employee of a Sunset Park factory was arrested late last month for attempting to steal over $2,000 worth of projectors and accessories from the building.

According to police, the man attempted to steal the loot from inside a factory located on 42nd Street between First and Second Avenues on Thursday, February 23 at around 1:30 a.m.

Reports further claim that the alleged perp, an employee of the company, tried to steal the gear by driving away with it in a vehicle.

Security cameras were present and cops busted the man.
