Talented kids and teens audition for Brooklyn Nets Kids dance team

Over 500 talented kids twisted and twirled their way over to the Brooklyn Nets Kids dance team auditions on Sunday, August 14 – an opportunity for boys and girls ages seven to 13 to join the 15-member dance team that performs at weekend Brooklyn Nets home games throughout the season.

The talented squad of pre-teens, under the direction of celebrity choreographer Tanisha Scott, will perform hip hop routines at the weekend home games and will also get to represent the Brooklyn Nets at events and media appearances throughout the New York metropolitan area, according to the team.

Scott has worked with the likes of Beyoncé, JAY Z, Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Sean Paul among others and is a three-time MTV VMA-nominated choreographer.

According to the Brooklyn Nets, members of the Brooklyn Nets Kids dance team have performed with artists including Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey, and have also been featured on the hit FOX show, “So You Think You Can Dance.”
