This week, we honor the dedication and achievements of Linda GallagherFrankie Marrath celebration of our parade.

Linda wears many hats: she has helped to raise funds to revitalize our Memorial Day parade, coached girls’ basketball and other sports at St. Patrick’s Church, and also dedicates her time to producing events that benefit breast cancer.

Attention children of all ages: the popular Easter egg hunt sponsored by State Senator Marty Golden will be held on Saturday, March 30, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at 79th Street and Shore Road. Congratulations to our 2013 “Extraordinary Women” who have been awarded this well- deserved honor of distinction by the Kings County District Attorney, Charles Hynes. Our very own Linda AllegrettiKaren TadrossDonna Mae DePolaArlene Figaro and Arlene Rutuelo are indeed extraordinary, each in her own way, in helping to make Brooklyn better for us and our children.
