A 59-year-old man was busted by cops for beating a woman in the back of the head with an umbrella inside a deli on Fourth Avenue and 25th Street at around 7:35 p.m.

According to reports, on Tuesday, May 2, the man swung the item at the 37-year-old woman, who was a stranger to alleged attacker, causing pain to the victim.

The man was arrested on assault charges.
