A 27-year-old man was struck and killed by a northbound D train near the Bay Parkway/86th Street station just before 5 a.m. on Sunday, September 6, according to cops.
Officers responded to the call at approximately 4:48 a.m. Upon arrival, units discovered the man lying unconscious on the roadbed.
Emergency Medical Services responded and pronounced the man dead.
The investigation is ongoing, according to cops, who say that the medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death. As of this writing, police have not yet released the name of the victim pending family notification.
