Santa made a pit-stop at the New Utrecht Reformed Church on Saturday, December 7 for a little bit of breakfast with Brooklyn Boy Scouts.According to Elaine Delaney, cubmaster of Pack 20 and Frank Maddalena, scoutmaster of Troop 20, the morning went off without a hitch. Over 100 people lined up for more than just the tasty French toast and sausage, sponsored by Kohls Associates in Action. According to Delaney, Kohls volunteers came dressed as elves and got the troops ready to welcome Saint Nick. Eager children took pictures with Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman, also in attendance. No trip to see Santa would be complete without a visit to his workshop. Everyone got to sit with Santa, have their picture taken and receive a gift from him, said Delaney. Aftersitting with Santathey got to work in Santa’s workshop on Home Depot wooden crafts.
