Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights and other neighborhoods to be sprayed to prevent West Nile Virus

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will perform a ground-based spraying of mosquito adulticide in areas such as Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Bath Beach, Borough Park, and Bensonhurst to prevent West Nile virus from Tuesday, August 8 to Wednesday, August 9 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.

In the case of inclement weather, the spraying will occur between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Wednesday, August 9 to Thursday, August 10.
