Boro Park bag snatcher sought by police

Cops are now hunting for a bag-snatcher who struck last month in a Boro Park D train station.

The bag, belonging to a 19-year-old man, was stolen from a bench in the Ninth Avenue station on Thursday, July 14 at 11:40 a.m.

According to cops, the male victim stood 10 feet away from his unattended bag which he had left on a bench on the inbound

platform inside the Ninth Avenue D train station. As the train entered the station, the victim returned to the bench to get his bag and discovered it had been stolen. The unidentified perp was caught on video exiting the subway system with the bag, which contained an iPhone S5 and charger, keys, a pair of red shorts and a white t-shirt. 

The suspect is a Hispanic male who is 5’5″ tall and has brown eyes and black hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt with “California” on the front, blue jeans and white sneakers.
