VIDEO: Cops seek suspect in Sunset subway wallet grab

Police are looking for an unidentified man in connection with a robbery inside of the 36th Street subway station. Video and photos were taken from the surrounding area.

Cops say that on Monday, July 16, at 1:18 p.m in the mezzanine area of the station, a man snatched a 35-year-old woman’s wallet out of her hand and then ran towards 37th Street. The victim’s wallet contained her I.D and about $200.

Cops described the suspect as a Black man in his 20s. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and basketball shorts.
