Get ready to read the definitive list, straight from the locals who know it best:

HO’BRAH
8618 Third Avenue
Saturday & Sunday 11:30 – 3:30

This cute lil’ taco joint, a favorite among locals, packs a big punch with its sweet ‘Mexicali Brunch’ menu. With one complimentary drink included (take your pick from frozen or classic margarita, bloody mary, bloody maria, mimosa, or draft beer) and flavorful dishes like their classic breakfast burrito, ho’brah rancheros, and a delicious hot mess called the cocoa beach (scrambled eggs, chorizo, avocado and salsa verde) all for under $15, this is a definite stop on any Bay Ridge brunch train.

CEBU
8801 Third Avenue
Everyday 11-4

No Bay Ridge brunch list is complete without the likes of Cebu – a dimly lit, cozy little cornerstone on Third Avenue and 88th St. complete with a plentiful brunch menu, outdoor seating and the unicorn that is valet parking (for the brave designated driver). The best deal is their “Complete Package,” a $15 nosh that includes your choice of a bellini, mimosa, bloody mary or sangria and options like a farmer’s scramble or a (quite large) bistro salad with chicken. Let’s not forget the necessary, included coffee.

BLUE AGAVE
7215 Third Avenue
Weekends 11:30 – 4

A real good, spicy bang for your buck, Blue Agave, bringing a sultry flair to Third Avenue with its unique Latin American and Mexican options, offers diners a $14 signature brunch that includes a mimosa, bellini or screwdriver and your choice of some crazy eats like a hefty shrimp omelette, huevos rancheros, breakfast taco, their signature “hamburgesa Blue Agave” and more. As  a frisky add on, the eatery offers a brunch drink special where you can add five mimosas, five bellinis or a combination of both for $15.

GREENHOUSE CAFE
7717 Third Avenue
Sundays 11—3

With huge, uppercase red letters at the top of their menu screaming “UNLIMTED BRUNCH COCKTAILS,” we think Greenhouse Café deserves its day in the spotlight. Offering up piña coladas, bloody marys, screwdrivers, champagne and mimosas, Greenhouse does it up pretty big on the drink front but also, their brunch has courses. Yes, that’s correct, for $26 you can have all the drinks, a choice of appetizer, an entrée and a dessert.

KETTLE BLACK
8622 Third Avenue
Saturday, Sunday & Holiday Mondays 11:30 – 3

This local watering hole, known plain and simple for having some of the best wings in Brooklyn, offers a pretty great “Not So Traditional Brunch.” What does that mean exactly? It means you can indulge in their $10-for-an-hour-of-bottomless-drinks special added on to any of their crazy delicious – under $16 – menu items. Unlimited drinks are served until 2 p.m. so get there (semi)early and enjoy the ambiance of this Bay Ridge favorite.

LOBO LOCO
8530 Third Avenue
Saturdays & Sundays 11 – 3

A brand new boozy brunch spot on the block, Lobo Loco Mexican Cantina looks very much like a brunchgoers dream. With over 25 different types of tequila, a $19.99 bottomless brunch (mimosas and “Lobo Punch” included), and an obscene drink called the Lover’s Cup where you get a gigantic glass (which fits approximately four margaritas) and your choice of either two Coronas or two bottles of Remy for $35 – you’ll never want to leave. Which is fine because they have a DJ on Saturday nights.

WICKED MONK
9510 Third Avenue
Weekends 12 – 3:30

Not to be excluded from any Ridge brunch roundup, and not only because they have their Wi-Fi password printed at the top of the menu, the Wicked Monk offers up some killer brunch options. With any sandwich, salad or entrée order, you get your choice of a complimentary draft beer, house bloody mary, mimosa or bottomless cup of coffee or tea. That’s right ANY sandwich, salad or entrée. We recommend the Mascarpone and Fresh Berry Stuffed French Toast – $10 for all that deliciousness plus a big ol’ drink.

SALUD
7204 Third Avenue
Weekends 11 – 4

Plentiful and seriously amazing options live at new Bay Ridge hotspot Salud Restaurant – so much so that they separated their Brunch and Brunch Cocktails into two different menus. Have your pick of some fresh French toast or pancakes, both can be had for under $10, and sip away slowly at some of their creative cocktail options like their St-Germain Berry Champagne ($7). If you’re into tapas, Salud’s Prix fixe, $25 for two tapas and one dessert on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, is worth a shot.
