Golden hosts another hoppin’ time at annual Easter Egg Hunt

It was yet another ‘Golden’ holiday as State Senator Marty Golden hosted his annual Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bonnet Contest at Shore Road Park on Saturday, March 31.

Accompanied by surprisingly decent weather, kids were off to the races to hunt for eggs in the park as they, along with their families, participated in a number of Easter-oriented activities, such as games, dancing, music and prize giveaways. Attendees — many of them in their own sets of ears — also got to meet the Easter Bunny.

Golden was happy to continue the Bay Ridge tradition.

“This year’s Easter Egg Hunt in Shore Road Park was a fun-filled event for the many children and families that attended,” he said. “Whether the youngsters hunted for Easter Eggs, had their face painted, danced to the music or more, there were smiles on many faces. And the visit from the Easter Bunny and prizes for all made the afternoon even more of a special time for all.”

The hunt was followed by dancing that Golden also participated in, with music provided by a deejay.
