Maimonides Medical Center celebrated the grand opening of the Maimonides Doctors Brighton Beach facility, 3209 Coney Island Avenue on Thursday, April 26.
The Shaknovich Cardiology Wellness Institute is the first of the clinical services at the facility to open, with more slated to open in the future.
The spacious, modernized office suite offers complete in-house laboratory services, CT scan screening, echocardiography and numerous other diagnostic services.
The program for the ribbon-cutting included remarks from Chair of Cardiology Dr. Jacob Shani, Chair of Surgery Dr. Patrick Borgen, and Chair of Surgery and Director of the Shaknovich Cardiology Wellness Institute Dr. Alexander Shaknovich.
“Dr. Shaknovich brings enormous expertise and skill to the care of his patients,” said Shani. “We’re delighted to partner with him in expanding his services for the benefit of Brooklyn residents.”
According to Maimonides, Shaknovich has been caring for patients and their families for over 25 years. Now with his experienced team, including Dr. Anastasia Nikitina, Dr. Elena Bezoff and Dr. Helen Khilkin-Sogoloff, he continues offering the highest level of excellence in cardiac and pulmonary services in the new offices.
