Man, 20, found stabbed to death inside South Slope building

A 20-year-old man was found unconscious and unresponsive with a stab wound to the chest in the early hours of Monday, June 19 inside of 355 16th Street.

According to police, police discovered the man — who has since been identified as Manos Ikonomidis — at approximately 4:08 a.m. with a stab wound to the chest and severe trauma to the body, following a 911 call that claimed a man had been assaulted inside the building.

The victim was transported to Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Cops say there have been no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
