Authorities say a 25-year-old man was arrested on criminal mischief charges after getting into a verbal dispute on the road with a 24-year-old woman and damaging her vehicle.

According to reports, at around 6:23 p.m. on Friday, March 2., the victim reported that she was at the northwest corner of Third Avenue and 88th Street when she and the alleged perp got into an argument while in traffic. The alleged attacker is said to have gotten out of his car and punched the victim’s driver side mirror.

The man also allegedly took out a metal bat from his car and threatened her with it.
