World renowned chef, restaurateur, author and TV personality Mario Batali will be saying ciao to his fans at the BookMark Shoppe (8415 Third Avenue) on Sunday, October 16 at noon.
There to talk about and sign copies of his new cookbook, Big American Cookbook: 250 Favorite Recipes from Across the USA, Batali and his new book will have a lot to offer cookbook enthusiasts.
The book features “the best America has to offer,” according to its summary on Batali’s website, “with over 250 simple recipes celebrating the treasures of the state fairs and the dishes of the local rotary clubs and ethnic groups.”
Tickets cost $44 on EventBrite but can also be purchased at the store (price is slightly higher on EventBrite than in the store due to fees). Only books purchased at the BookMark Shoppe will be signed and includes a copy of Big American Cookbook. All sales are final and books are non-returnable after the event. Each attending adult must buy at least one copy of Big American Cookbook.
