Police seek missing 51-year-old last seen in Park Slope

Cops are looking for a 51-year-old man from the South Slope area who has been missing since Wednesday, September 13.

According to police, Ramon Zapata, described as a white Hispanic, was last seen at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, 506 Sixth Street, at around 10 a.m. wearing blue jeans, a black jean jacket and a blue baseball cap.

Zapata is described as bald, approximately 5’11” and 220 pounds with brown eyes. He uses a walker.

Anyone with information about Zapata’s whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
