VIDEO: Police search for suspect who beat, robbed 51-year-old man in Sunset

Authorities are seeking a man who attacked and robbed a man in the Sunset Park area.

According to police, on Friday, April 27 at around 9 p.m., the perp approached a 51-year-old man around 44th Street and Fifth Avenue, punched him in the left side of the head, threw him to the ground, and nabbed $70 from his pants pocket. The perp then fled the scene on foot.

Authorities described the suspect as a male Hispanic, with a light complexion, approximately 5’10”, and around 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded jacket and jeans.
