Shooting at Gravesend bar leaves one wounded

A 23-year-old man was shot at a Gravesend watering hole early on Tuesday, July 5, police say.

The victim, who reportedly knew the shooter, walked himself into the emergency room at Coney Island Hospital following the 1 a.m. shooting at El Mixteco, Mexican restaurant and bar. According to cops, he was suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.

Cops described the shooter as a Hispanic male. The investigation is ongoing.

Another source stated that the victim had accidentally shot himself inside the bar.
