62nd Precinct Police Beat: Woman taken to hospital after boyfriend hits her with dish

DISHING OUT PAIN

A Hispanic woman’s boyfriend hit her in the head with a plate at an apartment near West Second Street and Avenue P on Saturday, July 23, according to cops. The woman suffered a wound to the head and was removed to Maimonides Medical Center.

NOT SO PICTURE PERFECT

A picture frame was the weapon of choice for a 38-year-old Hispanic woman when she decided to assault a Hispanic man, 36, on Monday, July 25. According to police, the relationship between the two is unclear, but, the woman attacked the 38-year-old inside an apartment near 63rd Street and Bay Parkway, and left him with cuts to the face.

TRIPLE THREAT

According to police, a 32-year-old man was attacked and robbed at gunpoint by three unknown perps at around 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 24. Cops say the perps hit the man in the back of the head with a gun near West Third Street and Kings Highway before attacking him with a hammer. The 32-year-old told police that he was missing his wallet, keys, watch and cellphone after the attack and that the perps fled in a white BMW. The man was taken to Lutheran Medical Center and treated for his injuries.

THIEF IN THE NIGHT

A 54-year-old man woke up at his West Seventh Street home on Friday, July 22 at around 10:30 a.m. to find his window screen open and his briefcase missing. According to police, an unknown perp had made his way into the house through the window and took the briefcase, containing the 54-year-old’s electronics and passport.
